About Osteopath Chris Harcombe
I recall going to see an Auckland Osteopath with my dad when I was a youngster in the late 60’s and would watch him recieve osteopathic treatment.
It was another 15 years before I had my first osteopathic treatment following an acute episode of crippling back pain. The recovery was remarkable. After only two gentle treatments, I felt so much better. I was stronger and I could move easier and I was pain free. I then understood first-hand why my Dad went regularly for osteopathy treatment the whole of his life.
These experiences influenced me, and I seized the opportunity to become an osteopath after a career in business. I left the printing industry to study osteopathy as a mature student in the UK and have never looked back.
In the full circle of life now I treat my own children. They come to me when they have aches and pains. It is a delight to see them radiate health and vitality and those two words sum up my mission statement for my patients and the surrounding community.
